World of Dinosaurs – 11 July to 9 September, Portimão Arena

Velociraptors, Oviraptors, T-Rexes, Brachiosaurs and other Jurassic creatures invade the Portimao arena 11 July to 9 September.

Brave boys and girls will be thrilled to see these millions-of-years-old beasts in scenes of their natural habitat. The World of Dinosaurs is a unique exhibition that allows brave boys and girls to closely observe the scenarios in which these animals lived. Here you will be able to feel the thrill of being close to a dinosaur and let their imagination take over.

The exhibition includes five distinct areas:

Film Studio – Visitors see a short documentary about the life and extinction of the dinosaurs.

Fossil Gallery – In the paleontological excavation laboratory and fossil gallery, visitors see hundreds of pieces of bones, teeth, claws, including three complete dinosaur skeletons.

Dinosaur Exhibition – Scenes recreate forests, deserts, river edges, waterfalls and dense vegetation areas. Animated figures react to movement and sound in the presence of viewers.

Paleontology Workshop/Children’s Space – Kids are invited to act as paleontologists to discover and uncover the bones.

Store – Dinosaur souvenirs to take home or show-off at school.
